My Approach

I began photographing weddings after being approached by several friends who wanted a more journalistic approach to their wedding. The experience of documenting someone's wedding complements my photojournalism work with news events, but are more intimate and special for me. Weddings are filled with emotion; anticipation, excitement, and anxiety, a day packed with events of your friends and family, from the simple details of the flowers on the tables to the last minute clothing alteration or the final touchup to the bride's makeup.

On your wedding day I will take formal portraits in a minimal amount of time in order to allow you to enjoy your special day while I continue to document without further intrusion.
